Children are blessings from God (Psalm 128). We believe they are part of God’s church from birth and value their presence in congregational worship. They quickly learn the routines of the worship services and begin to participate in singing, prayers, Bible reading and listening.
Nursery and Little Lambs
Families are encouraged families to attend church together. One way of making this possible is the provision of child care during both church services. In addition, a Little Lambs class is available for preschool-aged children in the afternoon.
Every other Wednesday evening the girls from grades 2-7 gather in the church for a time of study and fellowship. They begin the evening with singing and prayer and then break into groups for some age appropriate study. After a short break for refreshments they do a craft or game together. The girls also enjoy a few outings throughout the year like bowling, pumpkin patch and a year ending overnight trip to Deroche. Wednesdays at the church.
Vacation Bible School
Each summer our church provides a week of Vacation Bible school. All neighbourhood children as well as the children from the congregation are invited to attend a week of Bible study and related activities. No fees are required. The VBS coordinator is Leanne Grim. 604-532-5839.
